Repositioning a freight company into a ‘high tech’ installations and logistics company

THE CHALLENGE

Hitech Express was a national freight company who, over the years had transitioned their business from general freight into a far more specialised area.

From moving almost anything to anywhere the company had developed a niche within the Australian market as movers and installers of high technology scientific equipment. Almost always this high value, highly sensitive equipment was shipped from Europe or the USA and landed in Australia.

As often happens, over the years the company had become something other than what it started out as. Its name was confusing for customers and failed to position the company within its specialised category.

THE SOLUTION

The development of a comprehensive Brand and Marketing Strategy was undertaken by BrandQuest which lead to the re-positioning of the company and to the creation of a new name; Hitech Asia-Pacific, and logo along with the tagline ‘Installation and logistics’.

The new logo was developed to graphically represent the ‘caring precision’ brand essence as defined in the brand strategy.

THE RESULTS

A new brand, and new corporate stationery and communications were developed to reinforce the Hitech Asia Pacific leadership position.
